Plot
"Four young outsiders teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe which alters their physical form in shocking ways. The four must learn to harness their new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy".
My Thoughts
I am sure most people remember the first two "Fantastic 4" films and how forgettable both films where, When this reboot of the series was first introduced I was excited as I saw it as an opportunity for the past films to be made correctly and forgotten and to be led by the new film for the future foray in to the marvel movie universe. After seeing this Film I can say without a doubt that this was the worst film I have seen this year and one of the worse films I have seen in the last few years, I honestly do not really want to spend much time talking about this film, All I want to really say is that this films plot made no sense whatsoever, it was really disjointed and did not flow together and at the end left me confused and wanting more, the acting by the entire cast was horrible and made decent/good actors (Michael B Jordan, Kate Mara) look really average and I could not believe some of the acting I was watching it was really terrible and the worst performance by a cast I have seen this year hands down. The special effects in this film for the budget (120 million) where not of the level I would expect from a marvel film. Rotten Tomatoes gave this film a 9% saying "Dull and downbeat, this Fantastic Four proves a woefully misguided attempt to translate a classic comic series without the humor, joy, or colorful thrills that made it great". I agree with everything that was said here, this film did the impossible it made the previous two fantastic 4 films seems watchable which at the time of their release I never thought I would say again is a remake to the franchise was made, this film literally did nothing right it could not even entertain there was barely any action scenes and the action that was there was poorly done). I do not say this normally but this film is not worth anyone time to watch and I would tell anyone even a huge marvel fan to skip this unless they want to waste an hour and 48 minutes of their time that they will not be able to get back. Terrible film and hugely disappointing.
My Thoughts
Terrible Film, nothing good about it at all, waste of time do not see. 5.0/10!!!!!
The next film to review is "The Gift" starring Joel Edgerton, Rebecca Hall and Jason Bateman.
Plot
"A young married couple's lives are thrown into a harrowing tailspin when an acquaintance from the husband's past brings mysterious gifts and a horrifying secret to light after more than 20 years."
My Thoughts
for the most part, I am very opened minded and willing to give many films a chance, Some films may not have a great trailer or a cast that is well known and that can put many moviegoers off and ultimately will not see the film which could potentially be a good one. I am really glad that I took a chance on this film, it was one of the best films I have seen this year so far and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to see a good suspense/Thriller. First off the acting was superb by all of the main cast lead by Joel Edgerton (who also wrote the script and directed the film) he was excellent as "Gordo" the seeming friendly neighbor who was welcoming in new couple (Rebecca Hall, Jason Bateman) into the neighborhood. all three of the main cast was excellent and some of the best acting I have seen this year easily, I really enjoyed Rebecca Hall in her portrayal as Robyn the wife who is dealing with a personal loss that eats away at her everyday. Jason Bateman who I had previously only seen in comedies was excellent as Simon the Husband who is trying his best to provide for his family and will do whatever it takes to reach new heights in his company. What I really liked about this film was the plot it played out so well, there where a lot of tense moments that will have you at the edge of your seat waiting to see how it plays out on the big screen, also what I really enjoyed about this film was the curve balls that it threw at you, the main premise behind this film is that there is something from Simon (Jason Bateman) past that comes to light and the way that it played out over the course of the film was really well done. The pacing of the film was very good as well from beginning to end the film kept me interested and engaged in what was going one. There was not much that I did not like about the film, I will say that the ending for me was a little weak and could have been a little more direct, I felt the ending wasn't as powerful as the rest of the film, But I will say that was my only complaint about the film. This was a very good Film and as I said earlier easily one of the best films I have seen this year, it was well acted, had a great plot, had a good amount of intense moments and had plenty of twists to keep the viewer guessing on what would happen. Rotten Tomatoes gave this film a 93% saying "The Gift is wickedly smart and playfully subversive, challenging the audience's expectations while leaving them leaning on the edges of their seats" I agree with everything that was said, I highly recommend this film for anyone who wants to see a good thriller/suspense film that will keep you engaged the entire film. Overall this was a great film and I recommend it highly to anyone who wants to see a thriller/suspense film or a good film in general to see, I applaud Joel Edgerton for such a great job Directing/Writing and starring in this film.

The Next film up for review is Hitman:Agent 47 starring Rupert Friend, Zachary Quinto and Hannah ware.
Plot
"An assassin teams up with a woman to help her find her father and uncover the mysteries of her ancestry".
My Thoughts
I can say that I never played any of the "Hitman" video games, But I did see the first "Hitman" Film from a few years ago, and I thought that film was decent for what it was. It lacked quality acting, but did have good action and was entertaining for the most part. After seeing this film I would say the same for this film,. from what I could find out this film was apparently closer to the source material (the video Games) than the first film was. The plot was okay and played out alright on screen, I will say that the film for me started off sort of s low and tried to establish slight backgrounds for some of the main characters, But I felt the film did not do a great job at that and overall I felt nothing for the characters. The acting was okay nothing great but not the worst I have seen this year, I will say that Rupert Friend (Agent 47) his performance was for me inferior to Timothy Olyphant from the original film, the other main character in this film was "Agent 90" played by Hannah Ware, she was another relative unknown who I had not seen act before and after this performance I am not in a rush to see her act in anything anytime soon, she want terrible but her performance did nothing for me overall. The only quality of this film that I did enjoy was the cars used in the film, there where a lot of high end euro cars used in the film and they were really nice to look at, the char chase scenes were also done nicely and entertaining, the fighting scenes on the other hand were a little bland for me and felt over the top just a tad (the characters did way to many sliding 50 feet and shooting the entire time and killing everyone in the process without taking a scratch). Rotten Tomatoes gave this film a 9% saying "Hitman: Agent 47 fails to clear the low bar set by its predecessor, forsaking thrilling action in favor of a sleekly hollow mélange of dull violence and product placement", I agree overall as I mentioned earlier the first film was nothing special, but this film for me was a worse than the original film in my opinion if I had to chose one or the other. This film for me its not a film I would say anyone would have to see unless they are a huge fan of the series and will catch some of the references made throughout, otherwise I say skip this film unless you want to see a sub par action film with sub par acting, subpar fight scenes and the really only redeeming quality is the cars used and the car chases.

Nothing to see here average film all around and just barely average 6.0/10!!!
The last movie for the month of is "Sinister 2" Starring James Ransone, Shannyn Sossamon and Robert Daniel Sloan.
Plot
"A young mother and her twin sons move into a rural house that's marked for death".
My Thoughts
The original "Sinister" For me was one of the best Horror films I have seen in the last 10 years, it had great atmosphere, very good acting and overall was very refreshing to see, to top it off I really liked the plot as well. I eagerly anticipated the second installment into the series, I will say that since the announcement of a second installment into the franchise I have been a little hesitant about the film, that is due to the fact that the first film was so good that I felt any other entries into the franchise can only be worse and this has been proven through the years with sequels to every successful films. After seeing the film my fears came to reality and a really bad way. "Sinister 2" is by far the worst film I have seen this year and one of the worst films I have reviewed in the last 4-5 years. Honestly I would rather have had them not even attempt to make a second film in the franchise, just left it at "Sinister" and forgot about the series. I do not know where to begin with this film it was horrible all around from the horrible acting, tho the horrible plot everything about this film was terrible. The film vague mentions characters from the first film to keep a little connection between the films, but it’s not a huge deal of someone where to not have seen the first film if watching this one. Honestly I am not going to waste the time it will take to type a in depth review om this film as it does not deserved it one bit. Rotten Tomatoes gave this film a 12% saying " Sinister 2 has a few ingredients that will be familiar to fans of the original unfortunately, in this slapdash second installment, none of them are scary anymore". I agree this film had great source material to work off of, but it butchered everything that was good about the first film and it made this film un watchable really, I cannot suggest to anyone to watch this film skip it, if anything watch the first film to see how a good film is done and then if you want to laugh watch this one to how bad it has gotten.
