My Thoughts
I am a huge fan of Deadpool and enjoyed the first film Deadpool and was eagerly anticipating the sequel. This review will not be long. this film for me wasn't as good as the first film. But It was exactly what I expected. Ryan Reynolds was as great in the sequel as he was in the original. Some of the jokes didn't hit as great as they did in the first film. The Plot was solid and flowed pretty well, I really enjoyed the soundtrack which fit in well with the scenes. the action scenes were well done and what was different about this film was there was more of a somber tone to it which was a nice change of pace. the CG was very noticeable when it was being used, which took away from the scenes when it was used. Rotten Tomatoes gave this film a 83% saying "though it threatens to buckle under the weight of its meta gags, Deadpool 2 is a gory, gleeful lampoon of the superhero genre buoyed by Ryan Reynolds' undeniable charm". Honestly if you enjoyed the first film you will enjoyed this film. and I enjoyed it very much. The Merc with delivered again, I recommend this film to anyone who wants to see a funny,Gory,Bloody film that does not take itself too seriosuly.
Rating
