I am going to be honest, I didn't see one movie this year that I would call exceptional, but these where the five that stood out and for me the best of these was.

This was for me the best acted film I saw this year, John Goodman was excellent and the ending while cheesy and was filled with questionable special effects sets up a continuation of the Cloverfield universe,. which I appreciated. overall for me this was the best Movie I saw this year.
