My Rating

I will start by saying my expectations for this film were pretty low. I went in expecting nothing and I can say I was surprised. Is this film one of the better marvel property films I have seen, not eve n close. But I will say the film was more enjoyable then I thought it would be. The cast was a relatively unknown one except for Jared Leto in the lad role,m I thought Jared Leto did a solid job of bringing the character to the big screen, Morbius is a smaller scale character in comparison to many in the marvel ream but I liked Leto's [performance for the most part. The rest of the cast was passable but nothing special and no standout performances. The plot for the film again wasn't anything special, it was pretty bland and very predictable if i am honest and one thing that really stuck with me was the Special effects they were just strange, I didn't like how they were executed at all, they did look a bit dated for a movie coming out in 2022, the film had a decent budget so that was shocking to see. Rotten Tomatoes gave the film a 16% saying "Cursed with uninspired effects, rote performances, and a borderline nonsensical story, this dreary mess is a vein attempt to make Morbius happen.". All this was true. I agree with all of this but as I mentioned before I had very low expectations for this film and going in with that mindset lead me to being entertained by this film for the most part. Don't expect too much from this film and take it for what it is and it wont be a terrible movie experience.

 Rating
